Gambir Park at Central Jakarta Office Inaugurated

The Gambir Park built on a 290-square-meter width at Central Jakarta Administration Office is inaugurated. It looks more beautiful after passing through arrangement process that is by adding a fishpond. 

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede appreciates the performance of Forestry Sub-dept. that does land arrangement that was previously empty.

"The result is satisfactory. This park can be used by the apparatus or officers to rest and discuss after working hours, as well as relax the mind," he said, when he inaugurated the Gambir Park, Tuesday (1/2).

The park is named Gambir, as the land has gambir trees that are currently quite rare. The pond located on the west side of the park is filled by dozens of koi fish.

"The pond is not big. So we just spread 20 koi fishes," stated Bayu Sari Hastuti, Head of Central Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept.
